The attack in the southern city of Kandahar, the spiritual heartland of the Taliban, came barely a day after insurgents beheaded 17 party-goers in neighboring Helmand province, highlighting security problems in the region ahead of a 2014 withdrawal of most NATO combat troops. You would think he walks through the valley of the shadow of Tyria and fears no evil because he is the meanest SOB in the valley. But rather than slaying enemies left and right, he power-leveled with the adrenaline-deficient task of crafting. Crafting gives your character experience, as well as some nifty toys and upgrades. But for some--and check out the commenters on MMO Champion to see what I mean--leveling through means of exploiting game mechanics is unsexy.

Windows were smashed and four parked cars suffered minor damage in the blast, which took place about 4 a.m (0100 GMT) in the western suburb of Ilion. "We suspect it is linked to terrorism," said a police official who declined to be named. The medium-sized device was planted underneath the bank's ATM machine, police said, adding that there had been no warning call and no one claimed responsibility for the blast. ...
