Microbrewery eyes India's growing thirst for beers Posted: 04 Sep 2011 12:55 AM PDT Microbreweries are the newest additions to India's steadily expanding alcoholic drinks market, whose growth is driven by a younger, more affluent clientele willing to spend their cash in different ways from their parents. One such brewery in Pune, western India, has an adjoining pub were drinkers can sample its beers made with unusual ingredients like jaggery (cane sugar) and even berries.
