So desperate is the situation that the UK has to print more money to oil the economy and keep banking system afloat to avoid yet another catastrophic crash. Western politicians and their economists are no better than soothsayers, and have been proven wrong and inept again and again since the meltdown in Nov 2008. Despite the trillions injected into the economies in the States and Europe since 2008, there is no light at the end of the tunnel, and if anything, situation is getting worst. Austerity drives at national level produces higher unemployment, while dampening growth and businesses are experiencing yet further decline in profits. |
