In her new music video for "Bad Girls," M.I.A. is shown prancing about as what are believed to be Saudi women go drag racing, and Saudi male onlookers cheer them on. While some Saudi women are upset with the Arab stereotypes M.I.A. used in the video; many others say they were glad she was "pushing the boundaries" to get the world to pay attention to women's right to drive. India censors Google, Facebook — but other democracies are even worse Posted: 06 Feb 2012 10:35 AM PST The world's largest democracy has begun censoring the web. Google India and Facebook removed content Monday on the orders of the Indian government, which had issued a court order asking for censorship of pages offensive to Indian's political and religious leaders, the Associated Press reports.
