India hangs lone surviving terrorist from 2008 Mumbai attacks Posted: 21 Nov 2012 11:43 AM PST NEW DELHI — India on Wednesday hanged the lone surviving gunman from the coordinated terrorist attacks in Mumbai four years ago that left 166 people dead, including six Americans. Ajmal Amir Kasab, a Pakistani citizen, was one of 10 heavily armed terrorists who sailed into Mumbai, India's financial hub, and launched assaults on several sites, including two five-star hotels, the city's main train station, a restaurant and a Jewish prayer center.
